This place appears to be really popular. It's parking lot is always full, and in my few visits it's always busy. Although there's little wait time, they're efficient about the seating. It's not relaxing or elegant at all. Budget cafe tables and chairs, very bright florescent lighting, and one very large open room dining area for entire place. If you are interested only in the food and not the intimacy, this is the place.

Being from Colorado it is hard to find Mexican food that I like. Abel's is the only place that comes close to what I really like. So grateful we found them! They also make special tacos just the way my husband likes them when we go. LOVE Abel's.
Incredibly tasty and fresh pineapple, mango, papaya, coconut, watermelon, and cantaloupe each and every time I visit in season.
Reasonable prices.
Absolutely fantastic service and food. I love their roasted salsa its pretty spicy but very good. Another personal favorite is their fried ice cream. I've been eating here since 2008 and I've never been disappointed.
I have been going to both locations for a very long time and everyone at both locations do an amazing job. Try their Tacos Calvillo and Tacos Al Pastor. They are fantastic. I've never had anything there I didn't absolutely love.
Best fruit bar in the city -- make no mistake about it.
Be sure to ask for chili, lime, and salt to go atop your fruit.
Well worth the visit each and every time.
